Due to continued expansion Jim Macadam Equipment have now a position available for another construction plant fitter / Service Engineer.

Job Title: Service Engineer / Construction Plant Fitter
Location: Ballymount Dublin

Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining all our brands products in line with company and manufacturers recommendations both on and off site.
Work closely with Parts and Service Department’s to ensure parts are correctly ordered and allocated to jobs.
Attend customer sites to carry out servicing and repairs of customer and contractor machines.
Sign off all paperwork, timesheets and job cards efficiently within a given time scale.
Manage the PDI, repair and certification of machines as required.

Requirements:
You will have a proven track record as a Service Engineer in a Construction Plant or Agricultural Machinery environment.
Previous experience with Excavators, Telescopic Forklifts is required
Relevant experience in D.C. electrics, hydraulics and diesel engines.
Full drivers licence
Good level of I.T. skills.
Excellent communication skills and an ability to work closely with a small but dedicated team.
Commitment to excellent customer service.
Awareness of Health & Safety Practice.

Jim Macadam Equipment is the Case Construction Distributor, Manitou Construction, Manitou Access and Manitou Agriculture Dealer, and Ausa Dumper Dealer for the Republic of Ireland.

We supply new and used Tracked Excavators, Mini Excavators, Wheeled Excavators, Wheel Loaders, Backhoe Loaders, Skid-Steer loaders, Telescopic Forklifts, Access Platforms, Dozers and Dumpers with an emphasis on quality.

We operate from a prime location close to the Red Cow and the M50 motorway in Dublin, (Junction 10 off M50,) and close to the Luas Red Line. Our firm is well known and respected for the quality of its distributorships and is now in it’s 30th year of operation.
